What an amazing week we have all had learning about our Edwardian Heritage.Yesterday was amazing and everyone seemed to have had a great time. Thank you to the staff for all the extra work they had to do. Big thank you to the parents for some spectacular costumes.
During the week pupils have enjoyed learning about
Suffragettes, the history of the Empire, differences in Edwardian and present day childhood as well as lots of fun with money. Year 5 and 6 are very good with their pounds, shillings and pence! Year 4 have learnt all about the local houses and Year 3 have made some super finger puppets. Every pupil has learnt about the history of the school. All the children have created a newspaper which they are looking forward to showing parents. The open afternoon is next Friday 25th January from 2.45pm - 3.15pm , if you would like to pop in and see what we have been getting up to.
