Year 6 Visit To Lincolnsfield Centre
The year 6 children had a fantastic trip to The Lincolnsfield Centre yesterday, where they participated in a 1940's experience.
This included a visit to the 1940's classroom where they were told about the punishments and rules that they used to have at school, followed by a tour around 1940's house, where they had a chance to play with lots of 1940's toys and dress up in 1940's clothing.
They visited the museum, where they got to ask question about the war.
They also visited "Dig the Victory" garden and watched the "Blitz" scene. They finished off by having a lesson in an air raid shelter.
