Mother Tongue week & the Food Festival
Fri 11 Feb 2022When we come back to school we will be celebrating all of our different cultures. We have 37 different languages spoken in school and pupils from different backgrounds and experiences. We will be learning all about the different Mother Tongues and we will end the week with the Food Festival on the afternoon of Friday 25th February. We will put stalls up in the hall so that the children and then the parents can come in and try foods from the countries represented in our school. We would really like you to cook us some food to show off your heritage.
We would love your child to come into school on Friday 25th Feb in their national costume and if you are helping at the food festival, please do wear your costume as well.
