Starting strong and sweaty!

After we waved you all off we hit the road in a beautifully air conditioned coach and arrived at Caythorpe Court just after 12:30.

The fun started immediately! We dumped our bags and headed off to our first 2 activities a combination of either rifle shooting, climbing or survivor where we learned how to build shelters and light fires.

Straight after that we had a delicious dinner then got a chance to get into our rooms before our evening activity: Balloon Splash where we had to perform silly tasks to win “armour” to protect a balloon which was dropped from the top of a tower.

Now we’re off for a shower before bed. I think the teachers are in for a very long night!
