The children had a wonderful Sports Day today and it’s been nice to see families back in school to enjoy our whole family picnic lunch.

Parkgate Junior School took part In the Dynamo Cricket Tournament. We played against different schools from around Watford, such as Cherry Tree, Orchard and Alban Wood.

Year 5 had a very successful sleepover yesterday evening. They enjoyed a lovely time down at Watford Playing field playing games. Luckily it was nice and sunny. They returned to school where they ate pizza and lots of other goodies and slept upstairs. Not much sleep was had by anyone!
We were delighted to see lots of children attending our Non-Fiction event in the library, with the theme of 'Around the World'. There were loads of amazing books to look at and fun activities were enjoyed by all.
