Today, we have had a great morning showing the Watford MP, Matt Turmaine around the school, and the children have demonstrated their Parliamentary skills with debates and persuasive speeches. We heard speeches from the children on the use of mobile phones in school, the need for longer break times and even whether stone age man should have painted on walls and whether it was graffiti. The MP was very impressed with the children and then took assembly and gave out certificates. It was a great experience and we now have an invite to go to the Houses of Parliament with the School Council.
