What a scorcher it's been this week! To help everyone stay safe, happy and as cool as possible, we've made a few changes around our school. 
We've  relaxed the uniform, adapted lessons and pick-up times where needed, enjoyed plenty of water breaks, stayed indoors during the hottest parts of the day, kept the blinds closed to keep the classrooms cool, and even simplified our lunch menu to avoid adding extra heat to the building. 
Of course, no heatwave is complete without a bit of fun!

A huge thank you to Mr Slavin, who created an amazing sprinkler system for everyone to enjoy. And yes, when we say everyone, we really do mean the children and the staff! There were lots of smiles, plenty of laughter, and a few very soggy teachers by the end of the day!
