We are all parents of children at Parkgate Junior school. Although our children are in different year groups and classes we have one thing in common;

Our interest in trying to improve what the school provides for your children.

 

To achieve this the PTA raises money to help contribute to the extra needs that the school cannot always provide.

 

What have we done in the past?

• Redeveloped the playground – a massive £10 000 project
• Supplied sound and stage equipment for school productions and assemblies
• Restocked the library
• Supplied Football, Netball and Rugby match kits
• Bought materials for the Art Club
• Paid for outside visitors and workshops to enhance the curriculum
• Arranged the Leavers BBQ and mugs for the year 6 students

 

Events

Throughout the year we organise events to raise money for the school and for the children and families at Parkgate to come along to and have fun.

• Christmas fair
• Indulgence evening
• Bingo (for children)
• Snail racing
• Christmas Disco
• Plant sales
