We would like all our children to wear school uniform.  We encourage cleanliness and neat appearance in our children.

Winter Uniform
Grey skirts, black or grey trousers, blue polo shirt,
Burgundy sweatshirt/cardigan

Burgundy fleece with Parkgate logo
Grey, white or black socks
Flat, black school shoes or black trainers

Summer Uniform
As for winter or blue and white checked or striped cotton dress, or plain, tailored grey or black shorts.

All uniform should be marked prominently with your child’s name.

Trainers may only be worn for outdoor physical activities including playtime and lunchtime.

Jewellery

Jewellery can be hazardous in P.E. and Games.  We ask children to remove watches and cover or remove ear studs and religious artefacts with tape during P.E. lessons.  For safety’s sake, jewellery should not be worn in School.  Stud earrings and watches are the only jewellery allowed, except for religious jewellery.

Children are not allowed to wear make-up or nail varnish.

P.E. Kit

After consultation with parents, children and staff, we have decided to update the PE kit. Trainers can be worn when the children are outside but they are optional.  Plimsolls will still be needed for indoor PE as the floor gets marked by trainers. The children can also wear black or navy tracksuits especially in winter as it does get cold on the playgrounds.
