What is a quotient? .
The answer to a division problem is the quotient.
Today we’ll be continuing to learn how to do short division!
Look at this example:
84 ÷ 2
We will represent 84 as 8 tens and 4 ones. Our strategy is sharing 8 tens and 4 ones into 2 equal groups.
