Go over the power point from yesterday to revise the strategy of this division. Now have a go at the practise sheet.

 

Hint: Before you start each calculation, write to the side a couple of multiple facts e.g. on number 1 we are dividing by 17 so to help, I would work out and write

1 X 17 = 17

2 X 17 = 34

3 X 17 = 51

4 X 17 = 68

 

I can now use these facts to help me with the calculation, setting it out as shown on the example.
