Year 6
Happy Half Term!
So the half term is upon us, but as you can see from the video, there's still plenty to do!
Over the week, please take time to start the Year 6 Transition activities as we will be using these in our end of yer celebration.
If you're looking for something a bit different to do, have a go at the first of the weekly Challenge Tasks. This week: Have something unusual wear an item of your clothing. Most unusual will win. Send all entries to your class email address.
Have a fab half term and do let us know what you're getting up to - we always love hearing from you!

Miss Osborne's Book Talk!
As I have a bit more time to myself now I can't leave the house so much, I thought I'd take the opportunity to catch up on some reading, starting with a huge pile of books for our class library that were donated to me.
Keep checking in to see how I tackle the tower, and also to hear some recommendations and reviews.
Happy reading!
Miss Osborne
:)
The Graveyard Book - Neil Gaiman
An EXCELLENT book, highly recommended!
The Amber Spyglass - Philip Pullman
The Silk Roads - Peter Frankopan
The Leaning Tower of Literature!
In Case You Missed It...
Well, so far we've had a really busy start to year 6.
A big congratulations to all those who have been chosen to represent their houses or class in the School Council.
This term we have started our History topic which is World War II. Watch this space for some great photos of 1940's swing dance and watercolour paintings. We have also started the year with a lot of grammar work. Soon some exciting writing will follow...
