Sunday 19th April 2020.
Hello 4 Puffin and Heron!
Welcome back to the summer term. We are still missing you and we hope that you have been keeping busy and getting out and about for walks, and out in your garden (if you have one). Hopefully, you didn't eat too much chocolate! Now that the new term has started, we have some slightly different tasks for you to do every day, as part of your school work. We are going to provide you with the weekly overview grid so you'll know what's expected of you throughout the week.
Remember that everything we set can be accessed with a smartphone, or a tablet as well as a laptop or PC. Don’t worry if you have no printer – everything can be recorded in your Home Learning book. Take a photo and email your work to us, letting us know how you are getting on!
This week we are setting you activities for English and Maths through BBC Bitesize. Please check every day for new activities on BBC Bitesize Daily Lessons: Year 4. This can be found through the hyperlink below:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/dailylessons > Year 4
In addition to these lovely English and Maths activities, there are also History, Geography, Science, Music and Wellbeing lessons. Please have a go at these and don’t forget to let us know how you are doing.
NOTE TO MUMS AND DADS: If you feel that your child may be struggling with activities from Year 4, please feel free to check out Year 3 activities and complete these instead.
Please don’t forget to check back every day this week, as we will be uploading further activities from Purple Mash for you to try.
Remember to continue to read regularly throughout the week and practise those times tables. We really do love hearing from you daily by email and this is the best way to keep on top of providing you with feedback on your activities if necessary.
Best wishes,
Miss Mason and Miss Williams.
