Well after an exciting walk up the road to find our coach, we were soon on the road, stopping for lunch at Peterborough, before continuing on to the glorious Caythorpe Court.

Unfortunately it was drizzling, but we wouldn’t let a bit of rain dampen our spirits! Off we went on a trip around the site to learn the lay of the land, then it was back to our rooms to unpack while the teachers had a long and boring safety chat with our awesome Group Leader, Alex.

Then, before we knew it, we were off to dinner. The dining room was loud and crowded, but we soon got used to it! 

After dinner, another one of the leaders, Haley, took us out for the ‘PGL Tournament’ where we played lots of fun games, before finishing off the night with football and cricket on the massive field behind our accommodation.

Now we’re off for a shower before bed. Hopefully we’ll all sleep well tonight…
