Family Learning Session
Fri 13 Mar 2020North Watford Library will be holding a fun and informative Family Learning Session on Saturday 14th March between 10am-2pm. Enter the world of virtual reality, code a Cubetto and play with Lego robotics. Free for children and adults.

World Book Day
Fri 06 Mar 2020The children enjoyed a special World Book Day assembly
and were given a WBD book, WBD token and a bookmark to take home. Information on how to use the tokens is given on them. They can be used in Waterstones bookshop and WHSmith in town and most major supermarkets.Some of our children were spotted doing D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything And Read)!
And to to make sure staff didn't miss out, they were given a WBD book and bookmark so they could join in the celebrations! 📚
Wooden Spoon Book Character
To celebrate World Book Day, the children were invited to create a book character out of a wooden spoon. We had amazing entries to the competition with a good variety of characters - thank you so much to EVERYONE who took part.Our winners are: Charlie and Arlen (Year 3), Eve, Patrick and Spike (Year 4), Zaynab and Hannah (Year 5), Ariela and Maariyah (Year 6).

Fortnightly Maths Challenge
Fri 06 Mar 2020This fortnight's challenge is all about pattern. How do you see patterns differently to others? Using squared paper and felt tips create your own pattern. We will display your work so we can see all the different patterns you came up with. You can find the copy of the worksheet in “Our children” section of our website for different ideas.Good luck! -
Netball match against Orchard School
Fri 06 Mar 2020On Monday Parkgate netball team played against Orchard School. It was a great match with fantastic shooting and rapid passing from both sides. The final score was 9-5 with Parkgate winning.
