3D Art Day
Fri 08 Jul 2022Today, everyone at school enjoyed taking part in 3D art day.
We have seen some very creative art projects around the school, including a fantastic 3D tree by year 6 children. Year 3 children were busy creating their own living sculptures and even gave them names!

Day 5 - on the way home...
Fri 08 Jul 2022The wanderers return!
Oh getting up was hard the morning!
We dragged our weary selves down to breakfast then out for our final 2 activities: either climbing, orienteering, giant swing or archery. While we really really enjoyed them we were very much running on empty!
Anyway, we've had our lunch and we're on our way home now. See you really soon!

Day 4 blog
Thu 07 Jul 2022The heat is on!
Wow what a scorcher it was today! We've been loading up on water and sunscreen all day and have had a blast!
Today's activities included living our best Robin Hood lives in archery; braving the high ropes assault course; raft building or the vertical challenge where we faced a combination of ladder, netting and suspended tyres.
Lunch and a bit of shade was much needed before we were out again for our afternoon activities which included sensory trail; vertical challenge; high ropes and finding our way around the orienteering course.
Our leader Ross has given us a room inspection so now our bedrooms are (mostly) smelling good and free of sweet wrappers!
We're now finishing up our Cluedo activity where we have to complete some fun challenges in order to get clues to solve a murder mystery.
We've all had a great time but we're looking forward to seeing you!
Lots of love,
Team Parkgate PGL

Day 3
Wed 06 Jul 2022Getting into the "swing"
We woke refreshed from a good nights sleep and after breakfast split up for our morning activities.
Some of us built rafts out of barrels and ropes and got absolutely drenched jumping or falling into goose poo lake!
Some of us got harnessed up for the super exciting zip wire - it was so fast!
Some of us ventured into the woods blindfolded for the sensory trail.
We all had a lot of fun and gave the adults a good laugh too!
After lunch we all headed onto the field for rounders then either scaled the climbing wall or braved the terrifying giant swing!
We also headed to the shop where we could buy some gifts and souvenirs (or a few sweets!)
We're coming back from campfire now with hoarse throats and a bit smoky but full of new songs and games to tell you all about.
Nighty night!
