Day 3.
Wed 03 Jul 2019We have had a jam packed day, so far. Everyone had a great sleep and all were looking perky this morning. We had sausages for breakfast which went down really well. Today we have abseiling, archery, rifle shooting and the giant swing. Everyone is becoming a lot more brave as the week goes on and some people love all the leaping around in safety harnesses.
Lunch was wraps and we are now on afternoon session. Will post some photos tonight when I get back to the WiFi.
It’s camp fire tonight so we will all be rather smoky.

PGL afternoon and evening
Tue 02 Jul 2019We have had a fantastic day in the sun and we can see which group leader forgot their suntan lotion!! All the children remembered. We have built rafts, climbed poles and swung in the trapeze, gone orienteering and jumped on the trampoline in Aeroball. You will be so proud of your children as they are really challenging themselves and many have overcome their fears. We are now waiting as different groups are running round the site pretending to be airlines- they are collecting Countries for their passports. All great fun.
We visited the tuck shop and nearly everyone has had some sugar. Have a look at the photo and see if you can find everyone doing YMCA. Hopefully we won’t be woken up so early tomorrow.
Sleep well.

PGL day 2 am
Tue 02 Jul 2019Morning all,
Well, we all had a very early start this morning. Another school put on the crazy frog song very very loudly at just after 6.30. We were not amused! Reagan and Hannah complained to me and I complained about it too! We have just had breakfast of spaghetti hoops, bacon, vege sausage and hash browns along with cereal and toast and everyone is very excited. We have trapeze, raft building, aeroball and orienteering today so I hope we all get a little more sleep tonight. There are smiles all round.
I will put photos on this evening.
Have a a great day.

PGL day 1
Mon 01 Jul 2019Well the journey up here was smooth. Children all beautifully behaved. We had lunch at Peterborough services and got to Caythorpe around 3.00. After a run around and a tour of the site, we got into our rooms and went to dinner. We were all starving. The menu was fishfingers, chicken curry or roasted tomato tart- all with chips or rice. Pudding was a jam doughnut. Needless to say, we all ate lots.
We are now all playing wacky races. Lots of strange acting. I can see James throwing himself on the floor pretending to be a Russian Cossack dancer whilst Tilly is pretending to be an aeroplane!
I don’t imagine that there will be much sleep tonight but everyone has smiles on their faces.
Sleep well.
